They smell TERRIBLE!

Bandages fit both my 8 and 10 year old boy who has room to grow but they smell TERRIBLE! I don't know how to get rid of the smell so they can actually wear them. The smell is so strong I can smell it through the packaging. It's like cheap epoxy mixed with gasoline. Pooh. Very disappointing.
