Review on Conair Trifold Security Wallet for Travel by Jennifer Miller

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Peace of mind at a decent price

A few months ago my mother-in-law's credit cards were scanned and scammed. Luckily, her bank was quick to warn her so she wouldn't get stuck with the payments on her cards. It made me think and worry that the same thing might happen to me when I go about my business. This wallet was reasonably priced, and while it's more utilitarian than glamorous, I agree with that. I can see where it's inconvenient for men because it doesn't fit in a pocket, but in my purse it fits perfectly. In fact, while it's wider and longer than my old leather wallet, it's a lot less bulky - even when stuffed with the same cards, money, etc. I use a mesh pocket for credit cards that I rarely use (business account cards) and I put it in my personal cards in my pockets. I agree with one reviewer who said the credit card slots were a little loose, but since I have ration cards, drug store cards, membership cards, etc. I can fit two or three in a pocket and they stay up just fine. The passport pocket makes it easy to store checks. In general, the purchase is satisfied. I gave four stars instead of five because the shoulder strap can be very uncomfortable as it is. Every time I use my wallet I have to unwind and wrap the cord around it. I think I could cut it off, but I like the ability to use it when I don't want to carry my purse around with me. A detachable strap would make this almost perfect!

Cons
  • Not as good as it says it is
