I was of course happy to see that there was a much cheaper alternative to Leica's expensive adapters, but I was still skeptical. None of my lenses are six-bit encoded, so I don't need the electronic contacts that this adapter doesn't have, but I was concerned about how the camera would react to them. In my experience, lenses worked great with an adapter. My main issue with this product was the lack of polishes, some of which are purely aesthetic. In some places on the edge, the metal is a little torn and uncomfortable on the skin. Even when I put the adapter on for the first time, it didn't snag or snap into place. Upon inspection, I found that there is a small hole that the pin on the camera goes into. The hole on the adapter was filled with red paint and the paint filled the hole so much the pin wouldn't snap so I scraped off some of the paint and now the adapter works fine. If you're willing to ignore a few issues and scrape the paint, this is definitely a worthy alternative to the expensive Leica adapter. I am very happy using T with M lenses.
