The pencil case is good because there are separate slots for each pen and they seem to be sewn well and hold each pen securely. But be careful with lightning. There are no zip retainers on the binding, and the zip tabs can catch on the sleeve binding, making them difficult to remove. I knew about the comments before I placed the order. You only have to be careful when opening the zippers. I prefer a case with a zipper and separate compartments for pens. I'll look next time. But in general the cover is good, the fabric is nice, etc. Good protection for crayons.
