Quality is top notch, happy with everything.

If you appreciate Japanese brands and Orient in particular, this is a fantastic timepiece for the price. However, if American alternatives were available at a lower price, I would choose them. Advantages that vary: 1) Economic efficiency. I can attest to the accuracy claims made for this Japanese motion. Second, it offers a lot of defense against water. Third, the dial displays the date and day of the week in separate windows for further convenience. The watch will not fall off your hand thanks to the bracelet's several clasps. Because everyone has different tastes, there's little use in me writing about the design, but the watch seems to be rather adaptable, as I can see it being worn both with a shirt and with a tracksuit. And if you don't plan on buying multiple watches, this is a major benefit. The negatives: The bezel is difficult to turn. If your hands aren't completely dry, you may need to remove your watch. It's possible that these issues are unique to my copy or that the bezel will eventually loosen. Second, the luminous dot on the bezel (12 o'clock) sticks out above the rest of the surface and, to me, looks like it belongs on the outside of the watch case. It seems to disappear with even the slightest contact to any surface. This will drive you crazy if you strive for perfection.
