I don't know if the item comes with a zipper but I don't have one. The zipper unzipped and the fabric around it began to fray. I managed to zip it up again and tape the bottom to act as a stopper. I was also happy about other reviews. I ordered medium instead of small. My son is 14 months old and wears 18 month old clothes and I don't want him to outgrow them after this season. He drowns in the area. However, the medium size is perfect for my tall 3 year old. Pros: - Soft! - Comfortable to the touch and light weight for warmth. - The inner material reminds me of a blanket - cute design.
