I bought this for my 15 month old baby. The fabric corresponds to the description, very soft velvet. It's not very thick, so if you're thinking of getting one for a really cold winter or camping, it won't be warm enough. We live in Texas so a jumpsuit underneath would be fine for our temperature difference. I washed it and it washed well. Great idea having the freedom to move your legs and a good price.

It's incredibly cute and very warm and comfortable for my little one. When it's cold, I wear a long-sleeved t-shirt underneath. The lining is made of a soft, medium-weight jersey. My only complaint is that the zipper is small and a little flimsy. I've used it carefully and so far it hasn't broken, but I don't expect it to stand up to the everyday use that many of our garments go through.

I don't know if the item comes with a zipper but I don't have one. The zipper unzipped and the fabric around it began to fray. I managed to zip it up again and tape the bottom to act as a stopper. High quality, well made, very soft, very cute design. Keeps my son nice and warm. We used to struggle to get him to put on my previous sleeping bag, but now he's looking forward to wearing his night owl. We have used Halo sleeping bags before. We last used a version of Early Walker that is similar to this one. I definitely prefer this one. Basically the same, but this one is softer and prettier. If you're used to Halo early walkers and are close to the next size up, I'd suggest going up a size.
