This Weruva brand "Love Me Tender" formula of "Chicken Breast Au Jus" dog food is perfect for a topper for my picky dog. It looks and smells like real human food, because it is. This isn't your puree of mystery meat you find in a grocery store can. This is human grade, quality food that looks like a stew. I mixed it into my dog's dry food that he likes, but doesn't always eat, and he gobbled everything down and left the bowl clean. Very happy with this food!One tip - the food is like human food that's sold in pouches, meaning that when you open it it has taken the shape of the pouch. I empty this food into my dog's non-metallic food bowl and zap it in the microwave for about 20 seconds, then mix it, then mix in my dog's dry food. This brings out the scent of the food and makes my dog more willing to eat it than when its simply dumped cold into his bowl.
