I bought this facial gel on the recommendation of someone who said it would help improve my skin barrier. Not only did it not improve my skin barrier, it actually felt like it was robbing my skin of additional moisture. It felt more like dish soap than facial cleanser on my skin. Before using this cleanser, I had a skincare routine that worked for me (lesson learned: if it ain't broke, don't fix it), so I'm not sure what prompted me to suddenly try something new. At least a full month later and I'm just starting to return to my old beautiful complexion that I've missed so much. It was so bad that it was hard for me to force myself to even see other people, I was so shy. I'm not sure if I have a bad bottle or if she just hates my skin, but I seriously can't stop you from buying these. especially if you're just doing it to try something new. So disappointed because I really wanted to love it.
