I wish I had bought this sooner!
I have tried several weighted blankets to get rid of anxiety and insomnia. My weight is 115, I started with 12lbs and 15lbs and found them too light. I've finally committed to 18 pounds and I'm finally feeling the calming effects. So if you like the pressure, I recommend ordering from 10% of the recommended body weight. Remember that the weight is evenly distributed across the quilt, so you don't feel the full pressure of the specified weight everywhere. The only comment: my villi tend to accumulate easily.
