So thick, it’s hard to apply without a huge mess

I haven’t tested adhesion yet. I needed to glue edges of a fabric patch that was curling up. This stuff was impossible to squeeze out in a line. It came out in blobs. It made a mess. I don’t know if it was old and partially dried out or if this is how it’s supposed to be. But it’s hard to apply and made a big mess. I would not get it again.

Pros
  • Because the glue is waterproof, it's perfect for repairing outdoor gear like tents, backpacks, and jackets
Cons
  • Can be less flexible than some other fabric adhesives

Dog destroyed hat: my feedback

I had a baseball hat and my dog destroyed it. Since the hat is no longer available due to it’s patch, I removed it from the old hat and glued it to a new hat. Can hardly tell the difference and is staying in place.

Pros
  • Strong enough...but I have not try the waterproof adhesion on fabrics.
Cons
  • Might not adhere well to smooth or slippery fabrics

Good but not perfect

Gorilla glue products are usually great, and they’re priced pretty similarly compared to competitors. I was disappointed when I used as instructed to fix a cushion with a hole and unfortunately it didn’t seem to work completely. It held a little bit but didn’t fully adhere all the way around. I’m going to try applying another layer.

Pros
  • Works great wanted to use for nose pieces fir masks that don’t have them. Can’t as fumes are dangerous
Cons
  • May not hold up well with exposure to sunlight or UV rays

Useful and effective

Clear as product description noted. Adheres well. Might be better if smaller amount came out of tube at a time. However, using as-is is manageable.

Pros
  • The Clear Gorilla Waterproof Fabric Glue is perfect for any DIY project, no matter the size or complexity
Cons
  • Could cause discoloration or staining over time

Provides a good solid fabric to fabric bond.

I used this Gorilla fabric glue to repair some fabric-covered metal frames used in videography/filmmaking. I don't sew, and to have the repairs done professionally would have cost nearly 10 times as much as it did for me to do it myself using the purchased glue and some heavy duty cloth I already had. So far so good. The bond seems to be holding firmly. I only have 2 small issues: 1. The strong odor of the glue. Much like model airplane glue. Make sure it's well ventilated if using indoors. 2…

Pros
  • Arts, Crafts & Sewing
Cons
  • May not adhere well to fabrics with a slick or glossy finish

Strong, but use with care

It is very thick, takes some effort to squeeze it out of the tube. It really smells so do it outside if you can. Once dried it is very strong. BUT, it can bleed through and leave a dark permanent stain on the hems. This happened twice for me, luckily they were casual work pants. Do a sample and make sure you don't apply too much pressure.

Pros
  • With its strong and flexible bond, it's perfect for repairing items exposed to heavy wear and tear, such as shoes, belts and jackets
Cons
  • May not hold up well under stress or tension

I ordered these for sneaker soles

Great buy. I purchased sneakers for my kid that is very rough his soles started separating I used this and let it set for 24hrs.It worked great.

Pros
  • I bought this for some fabric crafts and it worked quick and clear
Cons
  • Could become brittle over time, leading to cracks in the fabric

Buy! Buy! Buy! on my review.

Very easy to use and it's endless applications, I've practically Gorilla glued some of my clothes, I don't even bother with my sewing kit. Lol.

Pros
  • Any Gorilla product is the one to pick over all others.
Cons
  • Adhesion doesn't work, and it's too expensive since it is not effective.

Will buy it again and again and again

This stuff is great! Super easy to apply. Great hold and NOT STIFF. Used on 4 different items and only saw one small shiny area.

Pros
  • The glue is easy to apply and doesn't require any special tools or equipment, making it perfect for novice crafters and DIYers
Cons
  • Might not be strong enough for fabrics that are regularly exposed to wear and tear

Easy to use - my new review

I needed something to repair a boat cover. This seems to work. It’s kind of "wait and see” for how well it weathers. That's my review.

Pros
  • I used it on a photo album too for cover, it worked great
Cons
  • Might not hold up well in extreme temperatures

Go with a proven winner

First time user of this product. I considered buying the cheaper knock offs, but am very happy that I paid a little more for a proven name brand. This glue is perfect for rounding and smoothing a rough edge that is bothersome. I use it to secure knots in some knitting projects (big blankets).

Pros
  • Had great adhesion. Worth the money.
Cons
  • Could discolor some fabrics over time

Much have for art jewelry

I used the Jewish to add a carnival style bar for my BBF and it turned out amazing the shine is still there with using the glue. Hold is crazy love it and the smell was not strong at all.

Pros
  • Worked great.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to work with on complex or intricate designs

It Works! (Where Others Didn't)

I used the Gorilla Fabric Glue to attach fabric strips to rubber belts for a mechanism I'm building. I'd previously tried two other "fabric glues." Both were fairly easy to use, but both failed to provide decent adhesion -- either immediately or soon after operation in the mechanism (which moves the belt slowly, but continuously, around several pulleys). The Gorilla Fabric Glue is somewhat difficult to use, as noted in other reviews, as it's more of a tacky gel than a liquid. But after using a…

Pros
  • Fantastic. Best glue for fabric that I've found yet and it's surprisingly strong yet flexible.
Cons
  • Could dry out or expire quickly, requiring frequent repurchases

Exploded while squeezing

We used this to secure Velcro on our couch. The adhesive worked on some areas but not on others even though the fabric on the couch is the same across the entire unit. The glue also exploded out of the side of the tube while I was squeezing it out which wasted about a quarter of the tube. Disappointing for how much we paid for cost and shipping.

Pros
  • clamp it
Cons
  • Tube may not come with an applicator tip

Super strong and dependable.

Used this product to attach a cloth patch to a nylon lawnchair. Adhesive to thick enough that it does not soak through and ruin either with the chair or the logo. Has held up to use even one folded in that bag. Excellent product!

Pros
  • works well, not perfect adhesive, but is glue
Cons
  • Could dry out if not stored properly

Hold great. on my review.

This stuff is the best fabric glue I have used. Easy application. Holds very well. Used it to attach a patch to some velcro for my jacket and it works great. No fear pulling the patch off the velcro.

Pros
  • The 2.5-ounce tube is easy to use and perfect for small projects that require precision
Cons
  • Might not work well with materials that are exposed to moisture or humidity

Not what they advertise

I thought since this was gorilla brand it would stick very well. No it did not. it was supposed to be a material glue and it did not do so well. I used E600 instead and then sewed over the item for extra support. I don't think this is worth the money.

Pros
  • This stuff really works. Great stuff. Would highly recommend. 👍🏼
Cons
  • May require a longer curing time than advertised

Excellent flexible adhesion

Did a great job gluing an outdoor jacket hem. The glue dries up flexible so it does not crack. So far adhesion is perfect. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Crafting
Cons
  • May not be safe for use with certain types of fabrics or materials

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very useful for fabrics

Kind of tacky when adhering. Best to leave at least an inch from edge to avoid spillover. Used to adhere school label to school uniform shirt. Works just fine. Dries within 5 minutes. Does not wrinkle. Leaves white film if too much is used. Maybe need a piece of wood to clean edges. Overall pleased and will be using in future.

Pros
  • WORKS GREAT ON: Fabric, Felt, Denim, Canvas, Buttons, Rhinestones, Ribbon and More
Cons
  • Might not wash out easily if applied to the wrong area

Revainrating 4 out of 5

After three washings, adhesive is still working

A little messy to work with but works great. Used it on a few stretchy items that had torn seams. All still intact after multiple uses and several washes.

Pros
  • Fixed a few of my daughters plushies and saved a little money.
Cons
  • May dry too quickly, making it hard to position fabrics
