Quality: Arrived in a decent box but one of the starter tips was bent. I was able to straighten it with no problem. Installation: It was really difficult to assemble at the top of the artificial tree. This thing is a bit heavy for faux wood, so it tends to lean a bit off center. The wire that held it in place was useless for faux wood. The branches of the tree were flexible enough to wrap around part of the base to hold it. There were no instructions but I had to screw on a piece of plastic to make the kaleidoscope effect work on the ceiling. Function: Makes noises while the top rotates. It's not loud, but it's not as quiet as I thought it would be either. Projection isn't great unless there's more than a few feet between the treetop and the ceiling. In general. This is a fun novelty, but it has a lot of downsides.
