Keeps rice warm for hours
My kid likes plain white rice and had to take it to school. I bought it as it matches her water bottle. She said her rice is always the perfect temperature. She hot packs it at 6:30 and has lunch around 11. That's at least 4.5 hours of heat retention. The only thing that bothers me is that the ribbing on the lid is so deep (to prevent spills, I'm sure) that if a tiny piece of rice gets in without her noticing, it gets crushed. into a deep groove and then I have to use something to dig it out. It's not dishwasher safe so I can't just throw it in the dishwasher and have it cleaned for me. All in all a good buy for the price and it does what it's supposed to do.
