When I opened the box I had to double check to make sure they were 'Refurbished' and not 'New'. There was absolutely no wear and tear, no dust, dirt etc. The only sign they had been upgraded was the crumpled plastic bag that contained the instructions. In terms of sound, there is definitely a lack of bass in both EQ modes, but the mids and highs are very clear. I had some doubts about the comfort based on all the comments here about being uncomfortable. I had no problems with that. After I adjusted the flexible hooks on them, they fit perfectly. If the others look as good and are in as good shape as mine, I highly recommend them.
