I bought these glasses as a cheaper alternative to the Sony TDG-BT500A glasses and they got 5 stars in that regard. They paired instantly with my Sony XBR-55X930D TV and produced a crisp and vivid 3D image that was indistinguishable from Sony glasses. The fit is snug but not uncomfortable (and I wear glasses over glasses). I like that they stay in place when you move them. The lenses are a bit smaller than Sony's, but that doesn't interfere with the TV screen in any way. There are still many similarities. Some reviews cite fragile plastic temples and a hard-to-press switch at the top of the frame. Well, imagine: The Sony TDG-BT500A's button is just as difficult to find and press without looking. And I have broken the levers on more than one and on TWO Sony frames in the same place after minimal use and careful handling. Conclusion: If I break the frame of my 3D glasses, I'd rather pay $15 to replace them instead of $55. or host a movie night with friends. Highly recommended.
