Where has this product been all my life? I have very straight hair and thought it wouldn't hold the curl. Usually, within an hour or two, my hair would lose its frizz, leaving a thick mess of hairspray. With this product my hair lasts all day and more or less the next day, all it takes is a light spray of hold-up hairspray. This is probably because it has multiple temperature settings and most cheap curlers don't get as hot as this one. I use the highest setting (about 400 degrees), set it with flexible hold hairspray and it works great. Now I curl my hair all the time, at least once a week. To prevent you from burning yourself, the curler comes with a heat protection glove. I like this better than the clip-on curlers as stray hairs can get caught in these clips, which is never a good thing. However, your hand can become very hot through the glove if you touch it directly, so avoid this. Overall a great product, albeit at a good price, totally recommended.
