Not my favorite corset by far. I have been waist training with a steel boned corset for almost a year now and while far from being an expert, I do have a little bit of knowledge and experience. I pretty much stick to AEC corsets, but I noticed I was having trouble getting my mother's apron area to go inside of my corset because it's a shorter torpedo corset, so I was hoping to add just an extra one to my stash that I could wear while walking around the house that would be longer and would cinch up my lower stomach area to help with shrinkage.I followed the sizing chart along with reading gazillions of reviews and the q&a's, and sized down as per the recommendations. The fit was still horrible. Why? Because I'm a torpedo shape in AEC corsets and despite the photo showing a body shape that's more on the pear side, this is an hourglass corset through and through with no extra hip room - at least not enough for someone who's torpedo-shaped. The top half of this corset would have cinched just fine. The bottom half was WAY too far apart and it would have been impossible to level/parallel.On that subject, there were absolutely no instructions with this corset - pretty important to note considering most of the reviews here are from newer wearers with photos clearly showing their corsets laced too tight, not seasoned, not parallel. I would think if the company wanted people to properly train their waists and get the best out of their investment, there would be an attempt made to ensure people were given the best chance of that with instructions. I also thought the fabric of this corset left a lot to be desired being polyester. There was a lot of give to the fabric immediately upon putting it on - far more so than there would be with a cotton corset designed not to budge.Overall I think maybe I'm just spoiled for real corsets but this one just ended up being returned. It just isn't customizable enough to fit anyone that doesn't have a total hourglass figure and it doesn't make sense to smash most other body shapes into this shape. I'd go with a brand that did its best to fit you into something that was more tailored to your size and fit if you truly want to waist train and achieve lasting, drastic results.
