This suit is perfect for my 10 year old son. He's on the border between a size 10 and 12 and has fairly short legs. The size 10 pants are almost too long, so I'm glad I didn't go for a size 12. Overall the costume looks great. It's quite thin which is perfect for warmer weather and also makes it feel less tight. That means my son won't complain. The tie is really cool. It's not a tie clip, but rather when you pull on the back of the tie and it tightens the curly part of the collar, or when you let go of it the collar loosens. I am very happy about this great price! Note: I received the traditional toddler version of this costume and it's perfect too. The only difference is that the toddler kit is thicker inside the jacket.
