I'm 5ft 9in 158 and wear a size 8 to 10 or large, sometimes mostly medium. I got the big one and it was very straight and columnar, no extra space especially in the hip area, really uncomfortable to move, it's more like a medium. It's also not nearly as long as in the picture, it's not even mid-calf on me let alone my ankles. The material is ok, it's soft and I love the robe with a zip, but this one runs small. If you want a roomy fit, go up a size, but if you're tall, this robe definitely won't be ankle length. To return
