As another person said, it doesn't have an adjustable side to hem a pleated skirt without pulling or "folding" the fabric here and there like you can. see the floral part of my skirt. However, it gave it the movement and shape you would expect from a horsehair braid and worked well enough to hem this circle. It's just that if you expect him to have an advantage, he won't.
