Not recommended for use in vans

I wish I had read the other reviews before purchasing, particularly Kennaldo's May 2020 review. It was professionally installed this Spring and has worked well. At the end of that summer we tried plugging the bus into a garage outlet, which was GFCI. The first time since installing the inverter. Stumbled every time. I've spent weeks trying to track down the cause of the current leak as I'm no pro. Neutral/ground connection, voltage leakage, random resistance wiring issues can be difficult to isolate. Eventually hired a certified electrician who quickly identified the problem with this inverter. It's connected correctly, but something internal is causing resistance, which in turn is causing a leak and a GFCI issue. Disconnecting the neutral wire on the input side fixes the problem. The electrician finally installed a 2 pole switch on the input side so I could turn off the inverter when we encountered the GFCI power supply. Can still power the device and plug on the output side from the battery. It's fun to do, but it works. upset.
