Review on 🖨️ JGAURORA Upgraded A5S 3D Printer - Pre Assembled | Large Build Volume of 305x305x320mm by Mike Johnston

I use it almost every day and love it and am happy with my purchase. Except for the annoyingly short Allen key to attach the luggage rack, everything quickly fitted perfectly. I would recommend taking a large square to ensure the stand is truly vertical and at right angles to the underside of the main body before tightening the screws. I have a resin printer but it was my first FDM printer and I really didn't want to mess around with assembly or settings to get it working so I settled on JG over Ender or something. Also in terms of size and build quality, this seems like good value for money. The glass bed is very durable, but I'm not sure if it's the best option. PLA doesn't stick to it, although heating works fine. Now I use glue stick before each print and it works fine but the prints are difficult to remove even when the bed is cold. My solution is to partially reduce the contact area of the plate as much as possible and never use a raft or an edge but use an apron. The hot-end fans are small and a bit noisy, the steppers aren't silent either, but I can work in the same room for a long time and don't worry too much. I've leveled the table twice (with a preheated table and a hot end) and it seems the setting holds up well for quite a while. I used the latest version of Cura first and it works fine with the machine and print presets available for this particular printer. . Prints much slower than advertised print times in Cura. Retraction is set at 8mm which seems excessive, suggest changing it to maybe 4mm. Couldn't get it to print sequentially (one full part and then go to another full part with coverage) no matter what I did. So I downloaded PrusaSlicer and preferred it as it's easier to find all the advanced settings, but JGAurora presets aren't available so you just have to configure it manually. It will print consistently when you set the extruder gap to a 20mm radius and 40mm height, as long as you take care to separate the objects on the plate a reasonable front-to-back distance. This also applies to Cura.
