Review on 🎨 Vintage Solid Wood Drawing Table: 36" Adjustable Tilting Top, Distressed Black Finish by Yolanda Baca

It turns out a great puzzle table!

I absolutely LOVE this drafting table. I have to admit that I don't actually use it for drawing - not even for writing. I covered a piece of plexiglass with felt to lay on top and use as a puzzle table. The felt allows me to tilt the table while holding the pieces in place. The pencil on the bottom holds the plexiglass in place. I suppose I could have just set the table myself, but I wanted it to be versatile and didn't want to ruin the finish by gluing felt to it. If I didn't have plexiglass I'd probably just use clips to hold the felt in place when I needed it so it could still be removed. In any case, this solves the problem of not being able to get to the top of the puzzle and having to get up and go to the other side of the table to see if the piece fits. For those who have doubts about the height, remember that this desk is short enough to allow you to sit in a standard office chair when it's reclined. The only time you can really use a higher stool is when the table is flat. This is because the tilt axis is in the middle of the table and not in front like some other tables. Very easy to assemble. I did it myself without outside help. I used the table to raise it to working height to save my back. I had an issue where one of the nuts was too small for the bolt. Luckily this wasn't a big problem so I was still able to use the table while waiting for a replacement. When I called I got the impression they would only ship one piece. They sent brand new gear - EVERYTHING! There are no complaints here - at least it minimizes the likelihood of me being sent the wrong part. :)
