This is a really good case. The reason I only gave it 2 stars is that although it has a cutout for Smart Connect, THIS DOESN'T WORK because this cover lifts the iPad too high over the Smart Connector for it to actually connect. In order for this cover to work you must cut off the entire side where the Smart Connection is located or your iPad will not charge. Since this case should work with Smart Connect, I don't recommend it. I think 4mm is the maximum that can lift the iPad and still work since that's the thickness Apple sells.
