This is a really good case. The reason I only gave it 2 stars is that although it has a cutout for Smart Connect, THIS DOESN'T WORK because this cover lifts the iPad too high over the Smart Connector for it to actually connect. In order for this cover to work you must cut off the entire side where the Smart Connection is located or your iPad will not charge. I love this case, it was affordable, looked cool, was light weight and fits well. The problem with my 1st gen 12.9 inch iPad Pro is that it is slightly warped from the pressure that was put on the screen. I don't want to fix it because even though it's bent everything still works great Cases that don't bend a lot won't fit my "bent" iPad. I have no problem with this case. When this case is on my iPad, pressing the case power button does not turn off the iPad. The rubber button on the edge of the case isn't properly aligned with the iPad's power button. I either have to cut out the area around the rubberized power button on the case so I can directly access the iPad's power button, or I have to remove the case if I want to turn off my iPad. In any case, this is not the best solution for a poorly designed product.

This case is very thin. So if you're looking for a case that doesn't add bulk, this is probably the one for you. I don't think it protects against falls. This basically gives you a better grip on the iPad and protects the back of the iPad from scratches. It's exactly what I was looking for, but this iPad stays at home all the time and I don't carry it on my bookshelf or in my bag. I bought this to replace something that never fit me and I'm glad I did. This cover feels thin, like a good wine glass. And it allows me to hold my iPad with less effort and easier to hold when I sit and read for a while. It's also good for arthritic fingers as they're easier to lift. The only surprise is how the color looks. It's very clean EXCEPT when you look at the edges where they frame the iPad's face. There is a more striking light green color. Kind of funny!

Excellent back protection. Where I work, they constantly stab in the back with sharp objects like scissors, hat pins, knives. This back protector, used correctly, saves you worries! Another advantage: located lower on the back wall, it serves as a cover for your kiester device. Wonderful. In addition, it is light and transparent. Nobody will know that you are protected.

I expected the case to be a bit stiffer, this is not my first silicone case, I've used it extensively on my devices. The color was beautiful, translucent enough to see the emblem from behind. However, I had problems with the fit, it was too loose on the right edge because there was a bulge. I don't know if it was a manufacturing defect or the silicone stretched. I didn't want to risk my expensive tablet. It is packed and ready for return.
