I used to lose my keys for a short time and finally found them like everyone else in the universe. But this time it took me three days to find her, which upset me a lot. I always have an extra backup set so I used it for those three days thinking I'd have to change my car keys. The difference now is that this last car I bought is the first to have a key fob. Those damn things cost over $100 to replace, so going to your local store to get a duplicate set of keys isn't that easy. So I decided to use this locator. I haven't had to use it yet, but it works great in testing. It makes a distinctive beep, beep, beep that's loud and clear enough, even for me with poor hearing. I know it will come in very handy one day, so I'm thankful they're available and this particular brand is doing well so far. That calms me.
