I broke my last ALLA hydrometer by dropping it on an empty parrot, oops! So this time I bought 2 hydrometers because it's always good to have a spare. This product was intended to be a production hydrometer. on ALLA instruments. ALLA is made in France and better quality than what I received. All hydrometers I received were marked "Made in the USA" and had no documentation or ALLA mark on the packaging, hydrometers, or instructions. These are not ALLA hydrometers. I measured the accuracy against 80 degree vodka and checked the temperature. One hydrometer read 1.6% higher and the other read 1.3% higher than vodka. So, I understand that this is a hobby, I accept a 1.3% discount, but 1.6% is too much for me.
