I was so happy to find the slim suit pants for my 4ft 9in and very skinny 8 year old. These pants have waist adjusters just like regular waists. sit, but it's good that my son doesn't need them. Thus there are no fabric folds on the sides. The waist fits perfectly. And the length is longer than other dress pants we tried. will actually cover my son's heel instead of stopping at his ankle. We ordered a size 8 in a fitted color. It's for church, but I see it worn on many fine occasions. Black color can attract down, but it is not. This is not a problem.
