I bought these because they were significantly cheaper than the Emjoi brand. At first glance, they looked just like the brand name. Upon closer inspection, the only visible difference was the lack of a small embossing pattern at the end of the roller. When I first started using them, I heard/felt a "tap" or vibration from time to time, usually when I pressed harder. After this happened a few times I went back to the original Emjoi video to see if it happened to this one. No, no chatting. I switched back, again having issues with vibration or chatter. I switched back and forth to make sure it was one role, but it only happened with this one. That was a bit annoying. Bottom line they seem to remove calluses at eye level with a well known brand roller, both gave good results. So if the chatter doesn't bother you, you definitely get more bang for your buck with this product. My only concern was that the occasional vibration and rattle could affect the rather fragile spindle assembly that holds, places and powers this roller. I always look at reviews before I buy a product. For this reason, I try to carefully test and analyze the products I buy in the hope that it will help someone else with their purchasing decision.
