The size is bigger but they are great.
1st son wears 5T shorts (he is very skinny). I bought 6/7 underwear and after washing and drying it fits perfectly. The second son wears 3T shorts (he's a brick). I bought him 4t underwear and after washing and drying they fit perfectly again. I like thick rubber bands. Feel soft and comfortable. There was shrinkage, so the size is bigger. I've attached pictures of the shrinking.
