Studio lights for budget conscious photographers

I bought these lights to shoot products in a photo tent. These are some insanely bright super white LEDs! For $20 you can't go wrong. First, these aren't high-powered studio lights. The body and lens caps are made from cheap plastic, while the stand is made from flimsy steel. The lamp is heavy and looks solid. It seems that this is the only detail that the manufacturer did not cut. A couple of great things about these lights are that the stand folds back into the body and the LEDs don't get hot at all. At best, it feels warm. I've looked at several similar bulbs here at Revain and the most common complaint has been heating up, mostly with non-LED bulbs. You can leave them on for extended periods (note: there is a warning on the display advising not to leave them on for more than an hour). The only thing that bothers me is the weight distribution. The lamp head is heavier than the body. You need to find some balance between the alignment of the head, stand and power cord or your lamp will fall head first.
