This sound machine/light has a cool, modern look. The light is bright and the controls are minimalist. At the top is a single power button and metal ring that make up the manual controls. Unfortunately, this means there's no manual control over the brightness of the light or the volume of the sound. You can change the light modes and sounds with the ring. It's not entirely intuitive, so be sure to read the instructions. The app is essential if you want to take full control of your sound machine. All in all it's a good combination of sound and light that looks good. Unfortunately, the lack of manual volume and brightness controls can be annoying. Sometimes you just want to turn it on like a night light without taking out your phone.
