So I know some people have left bad reviews about it due to loose footrests etc. Not sure if they fixed it or something else but mine doesn't swing. But here 1 star is deducted. So the installation was easy. Something seems to be missing in the instructions. There were 4 washers in my chair at first, but they weren't on the packing list or in the instructions. After installing the screws that attach the base of the chair to the floor, I found that the screws bit into the plastic. So that's where the pucks have to go. After installing the washers everything worked. So a tip for you guys, put washers on the screws that screw into the floor. Second, my chair had a rubber boot and some kind of metal part. I had no idea what it was for until I installed the chair. At first I thought it covered the main pillar where it was smeared. no The rubber part is actually inserted into the inner tube of the support part. A metal part is attached to it, to which the footrest is attached. This will make the footrest secure. It wasn't in the instructions, so here's a tip for you. That made it safe. Another reason this item loses 1 star is the lack of a plastic grommet covering the B-pillar. You see it on almost every chair as it keeps the center post (which is oiled) free of dirt. I have this in the store so I think it will harden in the garbage over time. Otherwise a great chair. I have a travel desk and this chair raises to a comfortable height so I can sit at the high table when needed. Didn't really need the wheels but hey they come with it so don't lose points for it. I would buy it again but the instructions need to be updated and should include a plastic B-pillar cover.
