I bought this dryer based on the reviews of other curly-haired girls. I started using CGM about 7 months ago and I felt like my old hair dryer was too heavy and my hair was getting frizzy. This hair dryer is lightweight, feels good in my hand and I've found it doesn't dry out my frizzy hair. Not all blow dryers are created equal, so I can't use hotel blow dryers on my curls. Try it and if it doesn't work you can return it. Personally, I'm excited. Update 06/10/2020 - after 5 months the low speed no longer worked and the hair dryer smells hot on all settings except cold. I have emailed the company twice in the past few weeks and have received no response. I thought it was a good product but I am changing my rating. Unfortunately it is too late for a return.
