Good climbing rope - my new review

I am a 35 year old mom and am determined to learn how to climb a rope, hence this awesome Christmas present from my hubby! We went for this rope because of the apparent ease of hooking it up and being able to take it down to use different places (theoretically for other workout drills). The only challenge about this is that we attached it to a high rafter in our garage so that we could practice climbing. Therefore, it is too high for me to easily take down. Obviously this is a personal issue, not a problem with the rope itself. We appreciated the price point because at the time it was substantially cheaper ($45 for 20 ft) compared to similar options. My husband, 7 and 6 year old boys and I have all used this rope and have not had excessive problems with our hands getting torn up, although I'm sure this is a reflection of how much you use it! The rope seems very sturdy. It looks like it could shed a lot, but so far we have had less shedding than I anticipated. My only qualms with this rope are that I hoped it would be easier to hang up. This is more of a reflection of our own personal home set-up, not the rope itself. Mainly due to the fact that we don't have a sturdy enough hook to easily hang it from and that we want it higher than I can easily reach without a ladder. If you are a ninja warrior family in training, this rope would be a great addition to your home gym.or if you have young boys who need to use up energy by climbing a rope in your garage during these cold winter months!
