I've had the 27 inch 5k version of this LG monitor for two years and I really love it. I wanted a second monitor but didn't want to shell out the money for another 5k. I thought the 24 inch 4K version could be a lot cheaper and decided to give it a try. 216 ppi versus 186 for 4K. To be honest, the 4K monitor still looks great and I don't notice any difference in everyday use. Of course, if you get your face very close and look, you won't notice a slight degradation in image quality, but I can't tell from my usual distance. The only reason I gave it 4/5 and not 5/5 is the higher 5K pixel density. Features: This does not have a built-in webcam but has an ambient light sensor that can adjust the brightness of the screen. My 5K monitor, on the other hand, is a camera, but there is no light sensor. I still never use a camera and prefer the ambient light sensor. The monitor has 4 USB-C ports on the back where you can connect any accessories. Ease of use: simply plug and play. It is so easy. You can set it up to be used as an additional monitor for your MacBook screen, or you can close your MacBook and use it as your only monitor. I have a wireless keyboard and trackpad, so my MacBook is closed most of the time. Very convenient since it is only one cable and it also charges the computer. Using multiple monitors: Yes, you can use a 5K and a 4K monitor at the same time. I'm using a Late 2016 15" MacBook Pro with Touch Bar. *I'm not sure if a 13" screen can expand both monitors. According to Apple, the 15" monitor can support two 5K monitors or four 4K Run monitors at the same time. The 13" can do a 5K or 2 4K. Just FYI before you buy * I searched and searched and couldn't find a clear answer. The only requirement is that you connect a monitor to the right USB-C port connector and the other to the USB-C port on the left side of the MacBook Build Quality: The monitor is quite heavy and has a solid metal base Overall great quality Support: I have a lot of experience with LG support 5K monitor died after an electrical transformer next door went out LG fixed it for $150 as it was out of warranty and I was only 3 days without it Very reasonable price for the service.
