I was so excited when it finally arrived. I played with him for a week and I couldn't get rid of him. It's like my new toy. The microphone is of very good quality. Even when I connect it to my computer to record music on it, I have a much cleaner vocal sound than before. I was shocked when I heard the sound it was capable of indoors. I have yet to do a full outdoor recording test, but I ran some tests indoors with the TV, fan, and air conditioning on, but wasn't as impressed. I could hear my voice everywhere, but it still felt like I was standing a few feet away despite holding the mic just a few inches from my face. I even put a mic sponge on it to block some of the clicks and it works great. I've been thinking about modifying it to hold my LED flashlight, but I found a few mounts online if I might not need it. I want to buy another gimbal without a mic to add a rode gun mic for more serious commercial recording, but it works for my personal movies and online videos. Still a recommendation for any independent filmmaker or smartphone filmmaker on a budget. I guarantee it will change your life! Thank you SevenOak. I'm excited to see what you can do in the future.
