Best recorder I've had in years and I've had them all, Olympus, Pearlcorder, other Sony recorders, all media formats from tape to flash. It's a lot more reliable than I thought. I particularly like the retractable USB connector, which also charges the battery. In less than two years there hasn't been a need to buy batteries. Expandable storage is great. The interface with the computer is simple and convenient. Sensitive built-in microphones, good sound pickup. The ability to record in different MP3 modes gives you quality options. Only use for voice memos, but can do a lot more. always with me
