Review on Advanced Pixio PX259 Prime Monitor: 1920X1080P, 280Hz, FreeSync, Frameless Design, Anti-Glare Coating, Tilt Adjustment, Blue Light Filter, HDMI, IPS, HD by Hien Hicks

Cheap frames. in my opinion

So we have a Pixio 1080P 280Hz IPS panel. It comes with an external power supply and a display port cable. The stand just tilts. There are LEDs on the back for decoration, but they are not controllable and not bright enough to provide illumination. Even with LEDs, the monitor doesn't look too "gamingy". The monitor has the following ports: DP 1.2 (280Hz) x 2, HDMI 2.0 (240Hz) x 2, Headphone jack x 1. It also has a 75 x 75mm VESA mounting point. The controls are the 4 buttons on the bottom right, which are not very easy to use, there are no joysticks here. It looks good and the colors look good enough for gaming. The monitor supports FreeSync: 48-280 Hz. I used a monitor with an Nvidia card and there were no problems. HDR is practically useless, like all low-end monitors. There is also nothing to say about the built-in speakers. I have Geforce 3090 and Ryzen 5900x so I was able to use this monitor properly. It has such high refresh rates that you can tell for sure if you have the hardware to push it. He feels good and responsive. Personally, I'd rather have a higher resolution and sacrifice some visuals. However, I would definitely recommend this monitor for high frame rate 1080p gaming. So in the end it's not the best, but it's not bad either, consistent with Pixio's overall MO. This monitor offers a good gaming experience at a good price, although I would suggest swapping out the stand for more customization options.
