This clamp is very similar to a Manfrotto clamp. Except for the cleaning surfaces, which are made of soft rubber, the pen doesn't have a hex on one side like a Manfrotto. Because of this, this black only shows up when the surface isn't exactly 1 to 1 1/4 inches flat. Thinner or wider - and does not last. On the uneven bars, for which it is mainly intended, it does not hold at all, even with the weight of a Manfrotto hand without a camera. It just keeps sliding. In the case of the Manfrotto Super Yoke, the contact surfaces are either very hardened rubber or almost a special plastic. And that doesn't move after tightening. I got a used pair for $21 and $22 in excellent condition. It also has a hex nut pin that prevents it from turning. I would definitely recommend her. You can't trust your expensive gear to a limo studio that's only $5 cheaper.
