You can't expect a cheap kit to be a perfect fit. The front seats are quite cramped and slide down a bit, but that's okay. The backrest is two-piece and the bottom of the seat is very tight, which is nice. The top half of the rear seat is very loose, but that could be due to my 60/40 split seats. I used a razor blade to cut the slots for the headrests and it was easy. It took me and my husband about 45 minutes to put them on. I wanted to protect my brand new Forester before I splurge on custom $500 wet covers and they will work fine until I get good ones.
