These filters work great together! I'm a plumber and have installed all kinds of filtration systems throughout the house. These 2 filters, sediment and charcoal, are great for my Florida home to filter out sediment and odor/flavor. They offer excellent filtration for the money. Sure, it's not a 5-stage filtration system, but they cost over $2,000. I change both filters every 3 months - easy! I buy 4 packs of each, so 8 total for less than $100. That's $400 a year for excellent filtration. Water tastes good, feels good, and protects my plumbing.
