They are literally flexible in use. I use them whenever I don't want to get my wooden furniture wet. I use them under plants and stuff to stabilize and prevent shifting (see photo). You can cut them down and put them under furniture or use them on a table as a slide. I plan to use them in my electronics builds to hold small electronics in place.
