Wow! These stockings exceeded my expectations. They are very well made, stable and the perfect size. You couldn't get any better than these if you pay three times as much to have someone hand make them for you. As mentioned in other reviews, there are exposed threads on the inside, but that's to be expected when knitting in a stockinette pattern. I plan on using old leaves to make a liner to go inside. That way the kids won't catch it in their excitement on Christmas morning. I used plastic canvas and twine to make a name on the top of each stocking so we know which stocking goes with which child. The photo I uploaded contains 2 identical stockings that are on a different listing. I know how to knit, but buying them was much easier and cheaper than knitting yourself. The children and I are very happy with the beautiful new stockings.
