Review on Leatt Brace Black Sz XXL Leatt AirFlex Stealth Body Protector by Kelly Noonan

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Discreet and can be worn outside like

I bought this because I didn't like the individual elbow pads. They kept slipping down when I wore a loose fit and were very difficult to take off (especially after a ride due to sweat) when I wear them tight to prevent slipping, not to mention the tight fit leaves marks on the skin after a long drive. I wanted elbow and torso protection that was easy to put on and take off. I also wanted to find something that didn't look too silly with all that protection. I am happy to report that this meets all my requirements! In terms of looks, it's great. It also looks great as a top layer and is really invisible when worn under a light jacket when you don't want to show others. I was concerned about the difficulty in taking it off after travel because of the tight fit. My concern was in vain. Thanks to the zipper and the stretchy fabric, it is very easy to put on and take off. And of course the elbow pads stay in place. I wear it next to the skin as a base layer. It seems to breathe well but still collects sweat under protective overlays. Because of this, the wind makes me feel cold unless I wear a windbreaker over it in cold weather. So it's not really for a long climb. I'll see how the warmer weather fares once winter is over and update this review. Elbow pads, shoulders and back are removable. The bib and outer back protector are not removable but it looks like they dry well after washing. M was for height 166-172cm Actually I'm 180cm tall but I don't have too big top and I usually wear M as casual clothes. Size M fits perfectly.
