I give this lamp one star because it keeps what it promises: a wall lamp with plug and cable. But that's the meaning of the phrase "You get what you pay for". This is a cheap lamp. It's a nightmare to mount this on a wall, the side screws are SO SMALL, very difficult to work with. The first set I bought was defective, I sent it back and received it again. The second set works, but it's not a very good product. The dimmer blinks frequently once you dim the lights, they start blinking after a few minutes and turn off completely after about 20 minutes. Then you have to turn it off and on again to make it work. Also, the lowest dimmer setting is still VERY bright, so don't expect it to give you an "atmospheric" light feel. Very nice but not very. I have a feeling this won't last long either because I just installed it today and it has already turned itself off 3 times. I won't be returning as this is my second set and I don't want to cause as much harm to the company, but I definitely won't be buying it again and wouldn't recommend it.
