I wasn't sure I would like this shampoo as I've had mixed results even with the bigger brands. This has done a great job on my favorite cosplay wigs, one of which is platinum blonde but tends to turn yellow no matter if I keep it in an airtight bag and away from sunlight. I usually have to soak it, sometimes twice to get rid of the yellow cast, but I quickly rinsed it out just to try the shampoo. It did the job well even without soaking which I usually do for a few hours. It has a nice rich texture and a little goes a long way. He smells good too. I didn't use much and it was easy to comb through evenly. I didn't have to soak the conditioner or fabric softener after that; doesn't dry at all. This is hair that has just been air dried - soft and tangle free. I have three human hair wigs that I want to bleach before dying and at least half a dozen other wigs that need the knots bleached and this is the shampoo I use on the prettier wigs and the ones I want to dye will individual order. . Just waiting for my developer to arrive and I am pleased to have a shampoo that I know will get rid of brass with minimal washing and soaking.
