Humidity setting not working

I just bought a UHE-WM130-BK. Humidifier does not turn off in programmed mode. I set my desired humidity level to 40%, if I leave the humidifier in my room it will reach 65% and won't turn off. Also, there isn't a manual online so make sure you know where to store yours if you buy one. It could be a good moisturizer if supported.
