I bought this to mount a camera on the back of my 24ft box trailer. The two different cable lengths are just about perfect for this trailer and my 2018 Ram 3500. I won't be towing all the time, so I was looking for a way to mount a monitor on the dash without drilling holes in the dash and not affecting the view too much to block. Coincidentally, the 2 mounting screws for the U-shaped monitor arm are spaced the same distance as the mounting screws for such a useless cellphone case (huh?) above the AV display. Make a flat sheet of plastic with standoffs to flush mount the monitor, grab a few longer screws and it looks like Ram designed it that way. Doesn't drag? Remove the 2 fixing screws and put back the original bag. As for the quality of the camera, it's acceptable as I only need to see what's behind the trailer and can see when the trailer is cleaning the cars as I drive by. I don't need a portrait video, a normal picture is enough. For the price you can't beat it.
