Only used 2 days - new version with 12ft cable, but so far so good. The lightweight braided cable is approximately 3 feet long and easily stretches the full 8-12 feet with the optional included extender - just don't go crazy, the cable is fragile. The ear pads are ok in terms of wearing comfort and offer you 3 sizes to use the SML. I tested the sound with Steely Dan's Pretzel Logic from YouTube. You'll want to put the earpads deep in your ear to get decent bass. I won't make serious audio mixes out of them, but they aren't designed or rated for that. It's a good deal for usability - for now. UPDATE JUNE 2018: I can't recommend it after a few weeks of use. They start to get very uncomfortable after 30 minutes of use and the sound is definitely heavy in the mids. The overall quality does not match the price, that is, in quality they do not exceed 10 dollars.
